Teleworking in Kainuu

Business Konttori space is owned by the City of Kajaani and Kainuun Yrittäjät interest and service organization for SMEs. It promotes entrepreneurship and cooperation between entrepreneurs but also offers a space for remote working for entrepreneurs, those with an entrepreneurial spirit or interested in entrepreneurship. Also business travelers and occasional remote workers are welcome.

Located at the heart of Kajaani University of Applied Sciences  Campus on Ketunpolku, Kampuskeskus offers an inspiring and work-oriented environment for companies, educational institutions and students. Here, education, work and entrepreneurship truly meet – creating new opportunities, networks and growth.

There are two workstations available at the Teleworking Premises at Kuhmo Town Hall with electrically adjustable desks, wireless network, printing service and a casual seating area. Alternatively, if you would like to work surrounded by the nature, you could try out the premises of Iivantiira village hall in Kuhmo (address: Kekkostie 4264).

You’ll find the teleworking station Pirtti at the Puolanka town hall. According to your preferences, there are both private spaces and a more communal one to choose from. Private persons who’d like to make a short term reservation may use the electric reservation calendar. Companies and long-term users of the office facilities are asked to make a separate agreement with the Municipality of Puolanka

In addition to sports facilities, the municipality of Sotkamo also offers meeting and remote working facilities for a variety of needs, for example at the new building for upper secondary school and library. Reservations are primarily made electronically through the Asio system. Alternatively, inquiries may be directed to the Sotkamo municipality customer service point during its opening hours.

At Suomussalmi town hall, there are  four workstations dedicated to teleworkers, that may be booked and paid online quite conveniently. Each of the workstations has an electrically adjustable desk and a wireless network. There is also a shared mini kitchen. The beautiful teleworking premises at the old bank house in Vuolijoki offer you a pleasant environment to work in. The premises are administrated by a local association. Each of the workstations has an electrically adjustable desk, a working internet connection and a connection to a multi-function printer. There is also a kitchen and a larger space for online conferences.
