Getting to Kainuu

Kainuu is located in the middle of Finland. Regional capital Kajaani allows easy access to all of Kainuu. There are daily flights from Helsinki to Kajaani, operated by the Danish airline DAT. If you would like to see more of the Finnish landscape, you can travel conveniently from Helsinki to Kajaani by train. You may also fly to Oulu, Kuusamo and Kuopio from Helsinki, all roughly two hours from Kajaani by car.
